The Hill Companies Chairman, President and CEO Paul Hill was recently named the 2014 Business Leader of the Year by the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce, and was presented with the award on November 1st as part of the 2014 ABEX Awards presentation.

The Achievement for Business Excellence Award for Business Leader of the Year is awarded to an individual who exemplifies the qualities of a business visionary who has shown outstanding success in business or industry through the development of a new process, product or service or for meaningful contributions to the local business community.

With this criteria in mind, the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce highlighted Paul Hill’s extensive leadership not only in the business world, but in the Saskatchewan community as well.  In addition to leading and diversifying the Hill Companies into new industries and ensuring long term growth, Paul Hill has also been a leading force for community initiatives like the Mother Teresa Middle School, Athol Murray College of Notre Dame, the University of Regina’s Paul J. Hill School of Business and Campion College, as well as supporting countless other organizations.

“The contributions that Paul has made to Saskatchewan are immense,” said Steve McLellan, CEO of the Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce. “He has been a leader in the truest sense of the word of our province’s business scene, and most notably, though his work in the community for many years, and we are pleased to recognize him in this manner.”
