The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today the first four of 12 Founding Partners. Harvard Broadcasting - a Hill Company (owners of 620 CKRM), The Mosaic Company, SaskTel, and Capital Automotive Group are the initial four that were introduced as part of today's press conference.
The 12 Founding Partners, known as The Starting 12, will provide support to the Roughriders construction commitment of over $40 million towards the new Mosaic Stadium.
This select group of corporate partners receive lifelong recognition within the new facility and the ability to secure exclusive multi-year sponsorship and partnership assets, naming rights and other activation opportunities with Saskatchewan Roughrider fans.
This also means Harvard Broadcasting will continue to be the Roughriders exclusive radio broadcaster for another 15 years on the newly expanded 620 CKRM Rider Radio Network. Combined with Harvards Mobile Apps and Streaming options, Rider Nation can follow Game Day broadcasts of Canada's Team in all corners of the Province and anywhere in the world.
Paul Hill, Chairman, President and CEO of the Hill Companies, was in attendance a today's press conference on behalf of Harvard Broadcasting. "We are so proud and excited about this partnership and to be a part of this amazing project," commented Paul when asked about the renewed venture with the Riders. "Our group of companies and our family have been associated with the Roughriders going back to the 1950's. The team, this stadium, and the fans undoubtedly put Regina and Saskatchewan on the global map and we look forward to being a part of this well into the future."
