The Harvard Energy Group (Harvard), based in Calgary, Alberta, is comprised of Harvard Resources Inc. and Harvard Energy Partnership. Harvard’s activities are focused on petroleum and natural gas exploration and production. Harvard is owned by the Hill Family of Regina, Saskatchewan, and a private investor in San Diego, California.

Harvard Resources Inc. (HRI) was incorporated in 2019 with the acquisition of Nova Star Resources Inc. Since 2019, HRI has completed approximately $450 million in acquisitions and is currently producing 6,200 barrels of oil per day. HRI’s production is primarily from a 14% working interest in the Weyburn Unit and from the operated Tatagwa Field, both located in SE Saskatchewan. In addition, HRI operates 100 barrels of oil equivalent per day in the Mikwan area in Central Alberta.

Harvard Energy Partnership (HEP) was formed in 1982 with the acquisition of assets from Tenneco Oil of Canada Ltd. Currently, HEP produces approximately 1,300 barrels of equivalent oil per day comprised of 650 barrels per day of oil and 3.9 million cubic feet per day of natural gas.
