For over 120 years, our purpose has been to help others achieve their goals - whether they are our business partners or community members. This sentiment has been ingrained into our DNA from our earliest days, and we believe it is the key to our longevity.

Community involvement is about more than the work we do across our businesses. It is about volunteering time, fundraising, and helping to make real change in the lives of those less fortunate. While the Hill Companies’ seven businesses span multiple industries and cities across North America, we all share a common belief that success is built locally through fostering the well-being of the places where we live and do business. It’s a genuine commitment to people.

We support our communities by creating opportunities where they’re needed most. This includes supporting youth education, working alongside marginalized and Indigenous communities, advancing truth and reconciliation, and addressing challenges such as food insecurity. We also proudly support the arts, culture and local sports organizations, with a special affinity to the Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club.

This commitment is led by Paul J. Hill and his family. Paul’s lifelong dedication to community and philanthropy has been recognized both provincially and nationally. He and his wife, Carol, co-founded One Life Makes A Difference and Mother Teresa Middle School, both focused on opening doors to education for underprivileged students. The family and The Hill Companies have also supported Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in Wilcox, Saskatchewan and the University of Regina’s Paul Hill School of Business for many decades. Today, the legacy of benevolence continues through Rosanne Hill Blaisdell and Matthew Hill, who represent the next generation.
