This morning, Cabela’s announced plans to open a 50,000 square foot retail store in Grasslands (Regina) with an expected opening date of fall 2013 or spring 2014. The popular hunting, fishing and outdoor gear store is a welcome addition to Grasslands and will be Cabela’s fourth Canadian location. Our Vice President of Development, Blair Forster commented on the project earlier today, "We are honoured that a US retailer of this stature has shown the confidence in both our company and our projects by opening its first, three new Canadian stores within our portfolio. This is a relationship we have worked hard to cultivate and hopefully it will result in additional announcements in the future". Cabelas’s opened in Currents (Edmonton) in August 2011 and Preston Crossing (Saskatoon) in May 2012.
