It has been a year of firsts for Kyleah Ogilvie. She has crossed off her to-do list snorkelling and ziplining in Mexico, joining a running group and completing a five kilometre race. Those were personal goals for the 32-year old Reginan.
But her latest feat was all about her brother, Neal, who had cerebral palsy and died in 2007 at the age of 17.
"It's kind of a big, important year for me, and since this is the fifth year of the drop zone in Regina, and my brother passed away five years ago, I thought it was time," Ogilvie said Sunday after her feet once again touched the ground. "He's always with me, especially today."
Wearing a bright green cape adorned with a picture of Neal, Ogilvie rappelled down the 22-storey Hill Centre Tower II to raise funds for Camp Easter Seal Saskatchewan.
